The reason I’m in NYC is for a conference on Human Trafficking around the world (more specifically centered around Eastern European countries). We (Carlson Hotels Worldwide) are a major sponsor of the World Childhood Foundation. Further investigation upon this Foundation reveals the fact that the charity is founded by Queen Silvia of Sweden.

That being said, I was in New York City tonight, at the United Nations headquarters, dancing in the same room as Queen Silvia’s daughter, Princess Madeline of Sweden. Also, we ate dinner together tonight and last night (with 4 other people from Carlson Worldwide).

Oh, and in the middle of the gala, a personal friend of mine showed up, Barry O….or as he’s more formally known, Barack Obama. Just passin’ through, no big deal.

But I was dancing to this song when I found out that he was literally a few feet away from me.
